I found 45 customer reviews at the time of writing and they had awarded the Furuno SC70 4.7 stars out of a possible 5 on average.
There were, however, a few niggling points raised in some people’s reviews. One said that “it was not as good as their Garmin 2720 which cost half this price” while another mentioned how it could have been cheaper than its competitors if there wasn’t so many features included by default such as depth sounder and GPS receiver/plotter mode for rough weather sailing or chartering boats etc..
However, no one else seems to have experienced these problems either so perhaps it isn’t widespread enough for me to say I would never consider buying one again nor recommend them outright but then again my personal opinion might be biased because I like using everything that comes with this product when practicing navigation anyway!
